(php) Email Troubles http://nighttrainmagazine.com/blog/archive/2008/5/6/email_troubles/ Tue, 06 May 2008 22:01:04 PDT http://nighttrainmagazine.com/blog/archive/2008/5/6/email_troubles/ If you've sent an email to rustybarnes@nighttrainmagazine.com or editor@nighttrainmagazine.com since February 28th which you didn't get a response to, please let me know. Your friendly and well-meaning, if ignorant, editor--cough--changed his outgoing mail server around that time, which apparently caused many return emails(157 of them, and strangely, some mail made it through correctly) to route through to a seldom-used gmail account, which the time-strapped and novel-busy editor just checked. . .now. So I apologize in general, and will apologize specifically, tomorrow.

I'm using Thunderbird as my mail client, and I have about six addresses coming in to that account, so if any editor-friendly and tech-savvy person could help me solve this, please comment or mail me at my personal address rb@rustybarnes.com, which I'll use for editorial business until I figure this out. Thanks, and sorry. New Firebox Fiction by E.P. Five Star Literary Stories http://nighttrainmagazine.com/blog/archive/2008/5/2/five_star_literary_stories/ Fri, 02 May 2008 08:39:29 PDT http://nighttrainmagazine.com/blog/archive/2008/5/2/five_star_literary_stories/ T.J. Forrester, a writer I know and respect, has opened a new website called Five Star Literary Stories. On it, an editor chooses a story, and T.J. (or someone else working on the site) assigns a reviewer to assess it. I chose the story 'Stone Dog' from NT II, and Cliff Garstang, a fine writer and reviewer, assessed it, and very accurately, I think. I hope you'll go check it out. There will be many more over the days to come, I'm told.
